Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The sales of Beijing Hyundai has recovered since June. According to latest data, the month-on-month growth in November reached 18%, with a sales volume of 95,012, touching a record high. The total sales from January to November were 691,000.
In terms of models, new Tucson and Mistra maintained a good momentum, with sales of 15,802 and 14,903 respectively; the sales of Elantra hit a new high of 20,332, the highest monthly sales in 2017 while keeping a history of over 10 thousand monthly sales; the sales of Avante and Verna were 10,871 and 10,821 respectively; and the sales of new ix35 released on November 15th was 4,000.
This year is the 15th anniversary of Beijing Hyundai’s foundation, with more than 9 million users. Based on 2.0 localization strategy, Beijing Hyundai revealed its new slogan "Quality Hyundai·Smart Future" for the following 15 years. Beijing Hyundai will focus on smart vehicles, aiming to reach smart connection to internet and quality customer experience. To achieve this, Beijing Hyundai has already signed strategic cooperation with iFlytek and Baidu, and built a big data center in Guiyang, to support further application of network.
In terms of product development, Beijing Hyundai will establish a framework with three vertical focuses of vehicles types (basic, high-performance and new energy models), and three horizontal focuses of vehicle technologies, (electric power, intelligent, and network connection). The first product of high-performance vehicle series, Encino, was revealed in Auto Guangzhou 2017, and will tap into the market in the first quarter of 2018.
