Facing fierce competition in the mid-high range auto market, Guangzhou Toyota is actively consummating its production lineup for a rainy day. It is reported that the automaker will launch the new 240V (navi) and 200G (navi) in the Chinese market this August, whereby Camry, the midsize four-door sedan, will come in seven, instead of five trim levels.
The price of Camry 240V (navi), without DVD navigation system, will drop to 249,800 Yuan from the 269,800 Yuan. On the other hand, the 200G (navi) will be equipped with the DVD navigation system to meet the rising demands. Insiders from Guangzhou Toyota also confirmed that the existing five models will not be upgraded and the much anticipated 5-cylinder Camry 2.0L AT will not be produced due to high material costs.
